Here are the two nightstands from the other night.  This redo was so popular I thought I'd use the leftover paint on these.  I imagine that they'll make a little girl very happy :)  Check for specifics in my shop.

Vintage Jackpot

The hubby and I hit the jackpot last night! The nicest, sweetest elderly couple in Mesa were getting rid of a house full of furniture.  All in immaculate condition and prime for painting!  We couldn't fit all of it in our car so they offered to put a few things in theirs and they followed us home.  How nice is that? We brought all of these...

 I painted these today and can't wait to show you tomorrow :)

{Please don't judge the nastiness that is my garage.  We sure could use a separate housing area just for the kids' stuff.  3 bikes, 2 big wheels, 2 trikes, 3 scooters, 1 plazma car and 1 police vehicle take up a lot space!}

For Sale!

Chair Makeover x 4

Most of my "furniture" time the last couple weeks has been consumed by client projects.  The next couple days are looking a little slower so hopefully I'll be able to make some progress on the playroom which I blogged about here and also add some new pieces to my shop.  Here are some photos of my most recent project.

  The chairs were brand new and in great shape, just not the right color...so we fixed that.

And now they're looking better than ever.

spring break photos

the week of spring break was HOT...like 90 degrees hot, so we swam and then swam again. we ended the week with some dutch oven with extended family and some camping with the kids.

dining reno

this dining set has been finished for a few weeks, but i took my time getting over to take pictures of the finished product in my client's home.  i wasn't about to try to squeeze this in through my garage door to take photos of it.  this set and i became real good friends and spent many late nights together.  i wish i could say i missed it.

here's the before.  i'm kicking myself for not thinking to take pictures of it in their kitchen before it was brought over because that's where you can really see the difference it has made.  it has completely lightened up the space.  it looks fantastic, heather!

quite the beauty

i just finished screwing in the hardware on this french beauty.  didn't she turn out great?  holly is a fantastic photographer - her pictures would blow mine out of the water, but here they are anyway...

it doesn't make for much of a transformation when a piece looks this good originally.

thrifty finds

i found some great things today.  it took a lot of effort and by the time the girls and i got home we were plain tuckered out.  even though i had only mapped out five stops, we ended up making SEVEN {exhausting!}  here's what i came home with.

three matching square frames with a great greek key detail.  awesome chunky mattes too.

two glass bowls which zac is insisting are ash trays...does anyone know?  am i the proud owner of a couple cute ash trays?

and most importantly two coffee tables and two end tables.  all in all, a successful days work.
