How Do You Like Them Apples?...again

*I switched from a blogspot to a dot com several days ago {and then switched right back again} - it's thrown my scheduled posts off a little - this post was meant for today.  If you're having problems getting my updated posts you might have subscribed the couple days I was nattybydesign.com, so you might have to re-subscribe now that I'm back to nattybydesign.blogspot.com....make sense?  Sorry for the confusion.*

Candy Apple Red {by Glidden} + faux bamboo = fabulousness.

Before.

After.

Tomorrow I'm going to go over my method for painting hardware.  See you then!

  1. Gorgeous! I love the colors you choose--they really inspire me to try something BOLD in my house instead of the beige tones I always go with because I get a little scared ;-)

I'll be looking forward to seeing tomorrow's post - I've got some hardware to paint myself...

I would have never thought of the red, but looking at it I dont think any other color would look good, except for that original creamish of course. ;)

  8. Awesome color! I have the same piece of furniture, but a taller dresser that I picked up second hand. It's going to get a makeover too!

  9. My husband is painting a dresser this color right now!! Did you use a special finish after you painted the red to make it shiny?? Like a clear gloss or something?
