I use Old Fashioned Milk Paint and on their website they have a retail location finder.

There really is no prep unless you want to fill dents or sand imperfections out. I use the bonding agent mixed with it or it reeeally flakes off and you have no control over how or where. Miss Mustard Seed doesn't use it because she likes her paint finishes that way. Either way works, just make sure to pick up the bonding agent to mix in if you don't want it overly distressed.

The paint really is no fail. Make sure to mix it really well and try to get most of the clumps of powder out, then just slap it on. It doesn't go on smoothly but that doesn't matter. After you sand it down and wax or poly it it will be. I was really surprised with what a smooth, brush stroke free finish you can achieve with this paint. much, much better than latex.

Good luck!Natty by Designhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16108898969995775305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7263921337957755892.post-14975910521017165152013-02-11T18:41:11.873-07:002013-02-11T18:41:11.873-07:00Everything you touch turns to amazing. Where do you buy your milk paint and do recommend any tutorials? I've watched a couple of Miss Mustard Seed's. Is there really no prep with milk paint? My piece does have a poly over it and I was surprised that I wouldn't have to do anything to it.

Thanks for any tips!

steveanddeborah@hotmail.comFreshly Primitivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06501677975980936938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7263921337957755892.post-65169925773375550152013-02-10T19:59:58.603-07:002013-02-10T19:59:58.603-07:00This is beautiful!
