Welcome to Natty By Design!

I am Natalie.

Meet my family.

My childhood nickname is Natty and, coincidentally enough, it means "smart and fashionable", hence the name for my blog.

I thrive on the adrenaline of a good challenge (note the ages of my children; 6, 5, 3 and 1). I have a passion for learning new things and being efficient. I am an incurable DIYer. If I can do it myself - then I'm going to do it BY MYSELF. I am very organized, love to be right, and am happy when my surroundings are CLEAN...no, I'm not OCD, just highly particular. As you will learn if you follow this blog for any notable length of time, I am a terrible speller and an even worse writer (fortunately for me, my husband/editor is great at both). And at 27 I still can't tell my right from my left without considerable pause (I prefer East and West).

Natty By Design is a place for me to list furniture pieces I'm selling locally, blog about home projects and share a little know-how I've learned in the process. Enjoy!
