Here's the after and....uh, just the after of a pair of vintage end tables.
I thought for sure I took pictures before I started working on them, but this is as close as it gets {the table I'm sanding}. They're no where to be found or I'm losing my mind and I never took them. It's probably the latter :(
What do you think of my new lamps??? I'll be posting on them tomorrow.
I've been displaying my "ashtrays" with pride because according to a knowledgeable reader who emailed, they're candy dishes. Thanks Dee in San Diego!
You do the most beautiful makeovers, and I just love your style! Your home must be incredible :-) I'm so glad I stumbled across your blog!

You do very good work. I read where you use Klitz spray primer but then do you spray paint with a sprayer or hand paint every piece?
ReplyDeleteThey all look so smooth

ReplyDeleteWow! Great job on the tables!
ReplyDeleteThey look great!
ReplyDeleteLove your vintage end tables! They matches everything in the room perfectly. Love your candy dishes too! :)
ReplyDeleteStunning :) Are these sprayed or brush painted?
ReplyDeleteI agree -- these are fantastic! I'm actually thinking of doing one of my tables in black. Did you brush or spray on the paint?
ReplyDeleteLove your style! I have a small tip for you: I've noticed that you bend over while working. This may cause a back hurt... I have the same problem! So I put the thing I paint on an old living room table. It makes a short but lifted surface for the painting. Have a nice day!
