Because you can see them from my front door, I get a lot of questions about my silhouette wall. They were so budget friendly and quite easy. I followed Caitlin Wilson's tutorial and used simple IKEA Ribba frames. I love how they fill the wall leading up my staircase.
I need to re-do Zac's. He keeps complaining that I made him look like Abraham Lincoln. I made them 8 months ago and I'm thinking I'm going to make him sweat it out for another 8 before I get around to it....oh the power!
Very nice. I love the little bows. I think it's kind of cool having Honest Abe in your family. I think you picked a perfect place for this display.
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty! I love the hairbows on the girls, and this brings me back to when my mom had my sister and I sit for our own silhouettes. I'd love to try this one day when H and I have kids.
ReplyDeleteLove them! The bows are such a cute touch. I make all my daughters bows. She is eight and I know that some day she won't want to wear them. I think I am a southern girl at heart. I love bows, monograms and silhouettes.
ReplyDeletebahahahaa. he does look like abraham lincoln.
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! I love the bows... it really makes the pictures.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I also love the bows--such a great touch!

I love the bows you added! So cute. I am your newest follower.
ReplyDeleteThese silhouette's are awesome! I love the details on the girl's hair! The only silhouette's i've made were for Halloween (of bride of frankenstine, headless horseman, etc)!
ReplyDeleteI would love if you'd link this up at Sew Woodsy today at our What's Up Wednesday's link party.
