The weather here in the desert is finally dipping below 95 degrees. Cool weather is coming and I'm excited to put in more time in the garage!
I got the itch to go on a furniture run, so my dear friend, Lyndsay, came to hang out at my house so I didn't have to take the girls.
Here's what I found:
This one's going to need a bit of work, but that will make the transformation all the more gratifying.
I love this mid-century modern desk! I didn't push the drawers in all the way, so they look skiwampus, but they're not. The size would make this perfect for a kids' room.
I'm thinking the shape of the mid-centery modern chest of drawers would make it great for a little boy's room.
Email me at nattycox@gmail.com if you're interested in purchasing one of these pre-paint, so you can specify the color and hardware.

Those are fabulous finds!!!
ReplyDeleteThat desk is awesome. Especially, loving the legs. I keep thinking they would look cool if they were dipped in a different color. How fun!!
ReplyDeleteOoooh what a cute little dresser, I did one similar here http://btweenblueandyellow.blogspot.com/2010/10/petite-dresser.html
ReplyDeleteI love the last piece. What color are you thinking? It would be great in a canary yellow. Keep up the great work.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to post the pics once you are done with refurbishing the desks.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you shopping for these? I am local and would love to decorate on a budget!
ReplyDeleteAnother awesome furniture find! Come on over and link this one up too if you would like!
ReplyDeleteI recently found your current article and have recently been studying alongside. I must show my personal love of the creating expertise along with power to create viewers study right from the start for the conclusion. I'd like to study more recent content and to discuss my head together with you.
ReplyDeleteAll three have a lot of potential. The minimalistic design of the furniture gives each piece a modern and clean appeal. It can be easy to make them a part of a room, but at the same time, there's a lot of room for transformations to improve their design and feel.
ReplyDeleteThese desks look great on their own, even without any improvement. It’s great that even if you see some aspects of it that needs improvement, you still decided to get those desks. Well, I think you really did get it because you already have an idea of how are you going to make it more fabulous, right? No matter how simple those desks may seem, you can still transform it into something great. You just have to set your creativity loose and let it do all the work for you. :)
ReplyDeleteDo you have any pictures of these desks after the transformation? I would love to see how they turned out, especially the second desk even though I like it as it is. The other two really looks dated, but the mid-century desk really looks good. It kinda looks like an artist’s writing desk, don’t you think? Only it’s more formal.
