This dresser is the second milk paint piece from last week. Don't you LOVE the color?!
Yeah, me too.
It's Lexington Green by the Old Fashioned Milk Paint company. I added the bonding agent this time too for the same reason I listed here.
(Yes, this means my garage is full of random mirrors. Want one?)
This one's also for sale! Email me for pricing and shipping nattycox@gmail.com.
Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteThat color IS awesome!
ReplyDeleteI am IN LOVE with this dresser!
ReplyDeleteOh yes! Beautiful green and another beautiful dresser! Hope you and your family have a very Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome! I'm picking up a dresser for violet today, I may have to pick your brain on some color choices for it!
ReplyDeleteHi Natty, let me know how much. thanks -Cara
ReplyDeleteCara! It's $580. Love your art work, btw! Amazing.
DeleteLove to see you expanding to milk paint finishes... can't wait to try it once the weather gets cold here and I am forced inside. You do just as beautiful a job on the distressed finishes as on the glossy sleek ones!
ReplyDeleteThat color has got to be my new favorite! I'm in LOVE!!!
ReplyDeleteI could fill my entire house with furniture you have redone!! Always so beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heidi!
DeleteYes I do love that colour, very much Natty. I also love the antiquing you've done with wax I am guessing.
ReplyDeleteWhat I would do with the back boards etc you take off is add them to the top of a board and make a vintage style sign. I think that would be really cute and I would take them off your hands and do just that, except for the small matter of me being very far away in Australia!
xx Karen
You've been a painting machine. I need to get to work myself. I don't know how you do it! Happy t-day!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as always! :) Love that color.
ReplyDeleteThis turned out gorgeous! Love the color :)
ReplyDeleteI love both the milk paint pieces you've done. I've just started playing with it, painting a dresser, but I've been using a foam roller instead of a brush (and you can see lines from the roller a bit, so I may switch...). Can I ask how many coats of paint you used? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI put on three coats. When you sand it down at the end, most of the lines should disappear.
Deletethanks!

ReplyDeleteLove the color! It looks much different than the swatch on the Old Fashioned Milk Paints website though (and I like how it turned out in your pic much better!) Did you do anything special when you mixed the paint? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAmazing color - amazing lines. YUM!
