Hi friends!
I hope you all had a wonderful break. (We were in sledding heaven).
The new year means goals! I love them. I love the fresh start and the intense resolve to be better and to grow.
-Live in the moment! Appreciate life's endless goodness and the wonderful opportunities I have to experience life with my favorite people.
-Ten minutes of one-on-one time daily with each of my kids. We're great at doing things as a family, but I'm not so great at taking the time to individually connect with each of my kiddos. But no longer!
-Don't live in my head - be a do-er. Don't let fear of failure or the unknown keep me branching out and doing new things.
-Be more business minded. Focus on growing and expanding and being original.
-Lose those last ten pounds. I'll never be as thin as I was after baby two, or even baby three and the reality is that I don't want to be. I'm proud that I've carried five babies and all the changes that come along with that. That being said, I would love to be more comfortable in my clothes.
Dessert and moderation is a foreign concept to me….gotta work on that.
Care to share you goals? I'm open to adopting good ones.... :)
Here's to making 2013 an amazing year!
love your goals! I am committing to doing a one year bible plan in full - not stopping 3 months in. I also want to spend time organzing instead of craming
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! Both great goals.
DeleteI actually want less stuff. I have too much...whatever. About the weight, I once heard someone say, "Do you rally expect a body that has brought life into the world to stay the same?"
ReplyDeleteThat's a good reminder!
Deletemy word for 2013 is CONNECT....and this does not mean connecting more to the WWW!

I think you're pretty great at living in the moment already!!! I admire that.
ReplyDeleteI empathize with your goals. I've never been one for new year's resolutions, but I gave myself a word of the year: Do. Like you mentioned about yourself, I tend to do a lot of thinking but not enough doing. I too am a perfectionist and fear doing something wrong or not knowing what to do, rather than jumping in and giving it a try. I have a lot of projects that are incomplete or not started due to my fear of the unknown or fear of trying. I'm a procrastinator because of those fears, and I'm also a procrastinator because I can get very lazy. So this year I'm trying to keep reminding myself of the simple word "do" to motivate myself to get things done. So far it's been good, but I can push myself even more!
