I have never owned a wrinkle cream… and before a year ago, I had no interest in them. Then something happened. It seemed like my face aged exponentially in just a couple year's time. To the point that, for a while, all I could see was my new wrinkles when I saw a picture of myself. Then I noticed my eyelids were starting to sag.
What?!
I'm not yet thirty, why are my eyelids sagging?! Maybe this is normal. And maybe everybody goes through this aging crisis and overreacts a wee bit. I don't know, but I certainly did. (And still do a little every time we have family photos taken. :/)
I immediately started looking into anti-wrinkle products, but was put off by the prices and the overwhelming amount of available products, options and active ingredients - retinol, acids, tea extracts, etc. Because I was overwhelmed with my options and was afraid to pay a large chunk of money for something that may or may not work, I purchased nothing.
Only StriVectin formulas have a patented, clinically-proven NIA-114 molecule that powers up skin to help repair damage and fight off all visible signs of aging for a youthful look and feel. StriVectin has 30 patents and 25 years of biological research to back up their claims. Find out more about StriVecton on their website.
I started using it about three weeks ago. The label suggests using it morning and night, and after two weeks you should notice a smoothing out of your skin. That's where I am.
I haven't yet noticed diminished wrinkles or fine lines, but I have noticed my skin looking less ashy, my pores on my cheeks becoming less noticeable and a healthy glow to my skin when I'm sans makeup. (Wrinkles and stretch marks aren't supposed to visibly diminish until eight weeks of consistent use. But that seems like the standard for all wrinkle creams.) Every night before and after I wash my face, I find myself doing the forehead "wrinkle check" to see if they're diminishing.
True story: I was getting ready one morning last week and had just finished washing my face when Zac said, "Your skin is looking really good… and I don't usually notice things like that." I think that says it all… my husband of all people noticed my skin was looking better.

I am the exact same as you. I really want to use an anti-wrinkle product and know that I should, but the price tag of most of them and the difficulty of deciding which one will work makes me keep putting it off. I'd love some cash to try something out!

Thanks for the revie and giveaway! I'be been wanting to try Strivectin but the price was little over my budget.
ReplyDeleteI'm 37 and in the last year I have really noticed a lot of changes in my skin (not good ones). My skin is extremely dry and I think that is making the aging process worse. My skin tone looks uneven and I am getting fine lines around my eyes and forehead. Ugh! I need help to turn around the damage I did to my skin in my teens and twenties (can you say tanning beds?)

ReplyDeleteI like the gentle, continual exfoliation the NIA-114 does to the skin. It's easier on the skin
for those like me with sensitive skin and who cannot use harsher chemical exfoliants. Softens lines and clarifies the skin.

I think that what you said made a ton of sense. However, consider this,
ReplyDeletewhat if you typed a catchier post title? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your website, but what if you added a title that makes people want more? I mean "the woes of aging" is kinda plain. You ought to glance at Yahoo's front page and watch
how they write post headlines to get viewers to open the links.
You might add a video or a related picture or two to grab people interested about everything've written. In my opinion, it would make your posts a little livelier.

Hate to burst everyone's bubble- wrinkles cannot be eliminated with a cream.
ReplyDeleteDo the research... and then just ask a dermatologist.
Best advice: Be glad that you are aging...the alternative is not very attractive.

I'd love to try this product and see if it diminishes wrinkles. I am almost 30 and have been noticing more signs of aging than I ever thought I would at 29!
ReplyDeletenicooo8 at hotmail dot com
I'm about to turn 29 and have started to notice my skin changing. Dark circles and fine lines are definitely creeping in, and I agree that it's hard to make a commitment to one of the many products out there when they are all pretty expensive and you don't know if they'll work!
ReplyDeleteI used StriVectin last year on my stretch marks and it was awesome! My skin is actually tighter now than before my baby. Would love to try it on my little crows feet. Too bad it doesn't work on grey hair. :)
ReplyDeleteWould love to give it a try on my wrinkles!!
ReplyDeleteI have sensitive skin and would love to try this to see if it will make my skin more refreshed and if this would help with adult acne.
