Mother's Day

Mother's Day is my favorite day of the year. It's the only day Zac and the kids tell me over and over how wonderful they think I am and how much they love me. What's not to love about that?

As I'm writing this I keep typing and then deleting, typing and deleting. I don't want to say the wrong thing when I know there are so many out there who so desperately want to be mothers but haven't yet had the opportunity. My heart goes out to you.

To my Mom:

Abraham Lincoln said it best when he said, "All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother."

She is...  Loving.  Supportive.  Driven.  A hard worker.  Efficient.  Confident.  Courageous.  A lover of chocolate.  Sacrificing, Charitable.  Kind.  A one-of-a-kind listener.  Smart.  Capable.   A perpetual dieter.   Knowing.  Tough.  An early riser.  Diligent.  A lover of learning.  A teacher.  She is the best mother any girl could ask for and I'm so glad she is mine.   I love you, Marm.  Happy Mother's Day :)

  4. Wow - your mom looks like she loves those grandbabies and she is so pretty doing it! I totally "get" what you're saying about typing and deleting, sometimes it's hard to convey exactly the way you feel in a blog but you did a great job in this post.

    Bless,
    Lisa
