Since the desert is miserably hot during the summer, anyone who can, heads out-of-town in search of better weather. Because of this, I'd anticipated that business would be slow. So far, that hasn't been the case.
Maybe instead of "the calm before the storm," this is "the storm before the calm"?
As proof…meet my living room.
And my garage.
This is great!! You must have very well-heaved children to keep their grabby paws off of it all! Lol.

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to all the reveals! The last photo in the garage ... faux bamboo set but I don't think Bali Hai ... very coincidental timing because I'm currently painting my Bali Hai dresser a royal blue, and its hangin' out in my garage too. We're hitting 98 + humidity here today so my painting is currently on hold for a few days until the weather breaks. How do you deal with the heat when you're painting in the garage? Got any tips to share with an amateur?

Thanks for the tip with the tannin prob:)
ReplyDeleteWow! You have a lot going on! I love the fabric hanging on the chair, I bought the same one a few weeks ago. I love the coral/cobalt combination. Can't wait to see what you do with it
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you taped off your drawers, which you proved to be a no in the last photo. I don't tape off either, and I was wondering if you sanded the excess paint off the inside and outside of the drawers or left them as is when it was time to resell?
ReplyDeleteI usually do, but this set was a 'no pay' service job that had already been attempted without taping the sides, so really there was no reason to when I did.
