i just finished screwing in the hardware on this french beauty. didn't she turn out great? holly is a fantastic photographer - her pictures would blow mine out of the water, but here they are anyway...
it doesn't make for much of a transformation when a piece looks this good originally.
Looks awesome! I love the curvy lines of the dresser :)

Wow, this IS quite the beauty. I generally prefer wood, but the white is a great improvement over the original. You did a flawless job of redoing it. Thanks for sharing it with us. :)

That is absolutely beautiful! Do you mind if I ask if you spray painted or brush painted? I have two dressers that are getting the makeover this summer and I'm not sure if one technique is better than the other.

Show stopper dresser!, seriously you do such beautiful work. Your furniture pieces are to die for.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I just bought a dresser almost identical to the before pic for my daughters bedroom and am trying to figure out if I want to paint it white or pale blue-green. Your after pics are making want to do white...just beautiful!
ReplyDeletedid you spray paint this dresser? it turned out flawlessly!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job! I love your blog. I just painted an identical dresser to this one except that ours is a nine drawer version. I haven't been able to find any new hardware that I like so I'm going to paint the old hardware. Would you mind sharing what color you used? I'd like to get a similar look but haven't painted hardware before. After prepping, did you use just a black matte spray paint? Thanks Natty!
