quite the beauty

i just finished screwing in the hardware on this french beauty.  didn't she turn out great?  holly is a fantastic photographer - her pictures would blow mine out of the water, but here they are anyway...
it doesn't make for much of a transformation when a piece looks this good originally.

  3. Wow, this IS quite the beauty. I generally prefer wood, but the white is a great improvement over the original. You did a flawless job of redoing it. Thanks for sharing it with us. :)

  10. It is beautiful and I do like it in white better than the natural wood, though you are right, the original wasn't too bad on this one.

  24. That is absolutely beautiful! Do you mind if I ask if you spray painted or brush painted? I have two dressers that are getting the makeover this summer and I'm not sure if one technique is better than the other.

  26. Gorgeous! I just bought a dresser almost identical to the before pic for my daughters bedroom and am trying to figure out if I want to paint it white or pale blue-green. Your after pics are making want to do white...just beautiful!

  28. Beautiful job! I love your blog. I just painted an identical dresser to this one except that ours is a nine drawer version. I haven't been able to find any new hardware that I like so I'm going to paint the old hardware. Would you mind sharing what color you used? I'd like to get a similar look but haven't painted hardware before. After prepping, did you use just a black matte spray paint? Thanks Natty!
