This dresser happens to be going in Ricki's master bedroom.
Here it is before…with the drawers out. I'm always too lazy to put them back in for a photo just to take them out again. You're just going to have to use your imagination. :)
The paint is a satin finish in the shade just lighter than I used on one of my favorite dressers of all time.
The color is BM Timberwolf.
When you use a satin finish, do you put a poly finish, wax or just leave it like it is? Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI leave it like this. But if I were using a softer paint like latex, I would go ahead and use a protective coat.
Deletethis looks so great. love the white pulls!
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at the smooth finish you get! I spray as well, but always end up with a bit of orange peel! What's the secret?
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of sprayer are you using? Try a fine finish tip if using airless. If not, add Flotrol for latex to thin and slow dry time. Try BM Advance paint. Its amazing.
DeleteSo beautiful. That is a lovely color. Your work is first class!
ReplyDeleteI love this one!
ReplyDeleteWow, I really love this!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beauty! Love the color.. filing that one away!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely GORGEOUS!!!!! I love everything about this! Your pictures are amazing too!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful color for walls, too! Looks fab with white trim/doors. A cool, calm gray.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that same thing!
DeleteLove the dresser..also is the canvas print available somewhere??
ReplyDeleteIt's a Paul Peel my mom passed onto me from 1891. You can find them on ebay for $100-$150.
DeleteSo pretty! Gray is my new favorite color. You did a great job.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the colour....nice to see something calm and soothing but not white.
ReplyDeletethat looks almost exactly like my dresser! I painted it white, but the top is showing a bit of wear. I love the look of the grey you chose. Very nice :)
ReplyDeletei looove the color!!! i want to paint my bed frame this color but when i saw it at the store it looks waay darker than your pictures!!!??? the store guy told me that color on the computer screen look different than in real life. so now I'm not sure what to do :(
ReplyDeleteCan you get a sample? It might've been a hair darker than the photos, but not much if anything.
