I've drawn up the basic sketch (I'm talking basic - no snickering!) and no those aren't sharks hanging in the corner - they're airplanes.
This room decorated by Tiffany was my main jumping off point.
I love the versatility and price point of the striped West Elm duvet cover she used, but it seems a hair overused at the moment.
I've read discussions on this topic before. With so much idea sharing on the internet, certain ideas or pieces become quickly "overused". Generally they're overused because they're great, so I'm debating: find something original, or use something that might quickly get old.
I'm curious what you're thoughts are on the subject?
I also drew up different ideas for Colby's dresser. I have a favorite and he has a different favorite, so we're going to work on meeting in the middle. :)
